What Meditation Is To Me

                    Life is good.  I have an amazing wife and two wonderful children (girl and a boy), a dog, and two cats.  I live in a pleasant town, in a loving home.  I am always very busy...with work, family, friends, sports and everything else to keep stride in today's world.   Sometimes it becomes overwhelming, stressful and exhausting, but you keep on keeping on.  Like I said, life is good!  

So, what has changed since I started meditating? I am still very busy. My schedule is just as hectic and time-consuming as before.  Daily, weekly, and monthly tasks are still there.  The change is that the overwhelm, stress, and exhaustion have been greatly reduced, leaving me with a lot more time to enjoy living.  Life became easier.  The positive attitude meditation created in me affected all aspects of my life, in fulfilling ways.  I am better with people, all people.  I enjoy nearly all I do, even mundane tasks.  I feel a constant reinforcement of purpose. 

 

I would love for everyone to have this feeling of being grounded and elevated at the same time. The ying and the yang.  Especially Now!
